72 Chapter 2: Performance Indicators Sharjah Hospitality Forum 2019: As the SCTDA believes in the necessity of developing the tourism sector in Sharjah and upgrading its performance, the SCTDA organized the Sharjah Hospitality Forum, which is a prominent annual event that seeks to enhance the roadmap for the tourism sector in the emirate. This forum brings together several strategic partners in the tourism field to discuss the key challenges facing this sector, in addition to the methods and ways necessary to ensure permanent development at all levels and to propose appropriate solutions to the challenges that it faces through cooperation and partnership. The sixth edition of Sharjah Hospitality Forum 2019 facilitated thought-inducing discussions which revolved around the theme of the forum: Sustainable Tourism creates Business Opportunities.
