UAE Vision 2021-2071 With the approaching date of the UAE’s Golden Jubilee celebration in the year 2021, the UAE Vision 2021 aims to make the UAE one of the best countries in the world, where six national priorities act as pillars and catalysts to achieve this vision, including building a competitive knowledge economy that makes the UAE the economic, tourism and commercial capital for more than two billion people. Building on the successes achieved by Vision 2021, the UAE Centennial Vision 2071 outlines a long-term plan that spans five decades to make the UAE the best country in the world by 2071. To achieve this vision, many strategic initiatives and plans have been developed that are based on achieving economic diversification and sustainable development. The tourism sector plays a vital role in achieving this vision, and therefore work is underway to develop strategic goals for each emirate, which aim to enhance the UAE’s competitive advantages in the travel and tourism sectors, and its efforts have been recognized globally. Sharjah is taking confident steps towards achieving the Sharjah Tourism Vision 2021, which will make the emirate an ideal family-friendly tourist destination that attracts more than 10 million tourists from different countries of the world.
